Psalms for Tuesday

Chapter 1
To the victorious, a psalm of David.
When the prophet came to him, he was given the same treatment as when he came to Beth Sheba.
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
Against you, you only, have I sinned, and done what is evil in your sight, that you may be justified in your words, and justified in your judgments.
Behold, I was conceived in iniquity, and in sin did my mother bear me.
Behold, I have desired truth in safety, and in your wisdom you will make me know.
You will cleanse me with hyssop, and wash me with pure water, and with a white scallion.
You will hear me, O Shashon, and you will make us rejoice, O mighty ones, O my God.
Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and a new and steadfast spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence, and take not thy holy spirit from me.
The return of my soul will save you, and a generous spirit will strengthen me.
Teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.
Deliver me from bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation; my tongue shall sing of your righteousness.
O Lord, my lips will be opened, and my mouth will declare your praise.
For you do not desire sacrifice, and you do not delight in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a heart broken and contrite, God will not despise.
When you have favored Zion, you will build the walls of Jerusalem.
Then will you desire the sacrifices of righteousness, burnt offerings and grain offerings; then will they offer up bulls on your altar.

Chapter 9
To the one who gives victory, to the one who gives wisdom to David.
When Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, he said to him, “David has come to the house of Ahimelech.”
Why should the mighty man boast in evil? His mercy is with God all the day long.
You will think of your tongue as a polished stone that works deceit.
You have loved evil more than good, a liar more than a righteous speaker.
You loved all the words of a deceitful tongue.
God will also make you victorious, and will tear you from your tent and your root from the land of the living.
And the righteous shall see him, and fear him, and shall laugh at him.
Behold, a man does not make God his strength, but trusts in the abundance of his riches, and is strengthened in his own strength.
And I am like a young plant in the house of God, trusting in the mercy of God forever and ever.
I will praise you forever, for you have done good to your faithful ones.

Chapter 21
To overcome the disease of the mind of David.
Nabal said in his heart, "There is no God! They have corrupted and abhorred evil; there is none who does good."
God looks down from heaven on the children of men to see if there are any who understand and seek God.
They have all become corrupt; there is no one who does good, no, not even one.
Do not the workers of iniquity know that they eat the bread of my people, but they do not call upon it?
There they feared, but there was no fear, for God had scattered the forces of the enemy. He had put them to shame, for God was a God of judgment.
Who will give from Zion the salvation of Israel? When God returns, the captivity of his people, the deliverance of Jacob, the joy of Israel?

Chapter 4
To the one who triumphs with instruments of wisdom, to David.
When the spies came, they said to Saul, "Isn't David hiding himself from us?"
O God, save me by your name, and judge me by your strength.
O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.
For strangers have risen up against me, and oppressors have sought my soul: God hath not set up a shield against them.
Behold, God is my helper, my Lord, in the distresses of my soul.
The evil one will return to my servants in your truth, which you have destroyed.
I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you; I will give thanks to your name, O Lord, for it is good.
For you have delivered me from all trouble, and my eyes have seen my enemies.

Chapter 9
To the one who triumphs with instruments of wisdom, to David.
Give ear, O God, to my prayer, and do not ignore my supplication.
Hearken unto me, and answer me: I will hearken unto my voice, and I will be glad.
From the voice of the enemy, from the oppression of the wicked, for they will cast iniquity upon me, and curse me with a curse.
My heart is troubled within me, and the terrors of death have fallen upon me.
Fear and trembling come upon me, and astonishment covereth me.
And he said, "Who will give me a well-fed pigeon, that I may sit on it?"
Here I am, a wandering wanderer in the wilderness of Sela.
A sudden wind blows from a storm.
The Lord has swallowed up Peleg for their sleep, for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
Day and night they will surround her on her walls, and evil and labor will be near her.
He is near her, but he cannot grasp her vastness, neither her depth nor her depth.
For I will not be an enemy to reproach me, and I will not be a husband to him who hates me; he will magnify himself against me, and I will hide myself from him.
And you are a man according to my values, my champion and my knower.
Who together seal up a secret in the house of God, we walk in awe.
The days of death upon him shall go down to Sheol, the living, because evils are in their midst.
I will call upon God, and the Lord will save me.
Evening and morning and dawn I will cry out and be silent, and my voice will be heard.
Redeem my soul in peace from my enemies, for many have been my helpers.
God will hear and answer them, and will sit before a pillar, whose name is not changed, and they will not fear God.
He spread out his hands in peace, he profaned his covenant.
The flatteries of his mouth were divided, and his words were close to his heart, softened with oil, and these were the openings.
Cast your lot upon the Lord, and he will consume you. He will never allow the righteous to perish.
And you, O God, will bring them down to the pit of corruption, bloody and deceitful men; their days will not be cut short, and I will trust in you.

Chapter 0
To defeat the dove of Elam, far from David, when the Philistines held him in Gath.
Have mercy on me, O God, for man has oppressed me all day long.
My enemies have been tormenting me all day long, for many are fighting against me from above.
In the day of my fear I will trust in you.
In God I will praise his word; in God I trust; I will not fear what flesh can do to me.
All day long my words will be grieved against me, all their evil thoughts.
They will be afraid, they
For the iniquity of the fatherless, in the wrath of the peoples, God brought down.
You have written my tears in your book, not in your book.
Then my enemies will return later on that day. I will read this and know that God is for me.
In God I will praise a word; in the Lord I will praise a word.
In God I trust; I will not fear what man can do to me.
O God, I will pay your vows to you, and I will give thanks to you.
For you have delivered my soul from death. Have not my feet been hindered from walking before God in the light of the living?

Chapter 7
To the victor, do not destroy David from their slaughter when he fled from Saul in the cave.
Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge, and under the shadow of your wings I will take refuge until the end of time.
I will call upon the most high God, upon the God who is my refuge.
He will send from heaven and save me from the wrath of my enemies. God will send his mercy and his truth.
My soul is in the midst of them, I lie down among the fiery furnaces of the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and clubs, and their tongues a sharp sword.
Exalted above the heavens, O God, is your glory over all the earth.
They have prepared a net for me, and my soul has fallen before me, and I have fallen into a trap.
My heart is right, O God, my heart is right; I will sing and praise.
My glory is like the lute, and the harp is like the lute of the night.
I will sing praises to you, O Lord, among the peoples, even among the nations.
For your mercy is great unto the heavens, and your truth unto the ends of the earth.
Exalted above the heavens, O God, is your glory over all the earth.

Noah's Ark
To the victor, do not destroy David from their slaughter.
The faithful will speak righteousness, and judge the sons of men with uprightness.
Even in the heart of the fire you will work in the land of the five winds, your hands will be falsified.
The wicked are born from the womb; they go astray from the belly of those who speak lies.
Why is his anger like the anger of brass? Like a fool who stops his ear.
He who will not listen to the voice of those who whisper is a wise friend.
God has destroyed the wicked with his mouth; the deceit of the wicked is the Lord's.
They will be like water, they
As the serpent of the Thames flows, so Nephalem, the wife of Bel, will go down to Shemesh.
Before we understand your boats, they will be as alive as they are angry.
The righteous will rejoice, for the avenger of his wrath will wash him in the blood of the wicked.
And a man shall say, Surely there is a God who judges in the earth.

Chapter 1
To the victors, do not destroy David from their slaughter by sending Saul, and they guarded the house to kill him.
Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; from my afflictions lift me up.
Deliver me from evildoers, and from bloody men save me.
For behold, they lie in wait for my soul; the mighty ones rise up against me, though I have not transgressed, nor have I sinned, O Lord.
They will run after me with iniquity and will make me a burden to read and see.
And you, O Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, have arisen to judge all the nations; do not spare any who transgress against the law. Selah.
They will return in the evening, they will howl like a dog and go around the city.
Behold, they shall utter with their mouths, and swords with their lips: for who can hear?
And you, O Lord, will laugh at him, for you will mock all the nations.
My strength is in you, my refuge, for God is my helper.
The God of my mercy will go before me; the God who protects me will protect me in my ministry.
Do not kill them, lest my people forget their delight in your army, and let them sleep, O Lord, our protector.
The sin of his mouth is the word of his lips, and they shall be taken in their pride, and shall be counted in a snare and a snare.
He has consumed it in his wrath, he has consumed it, and it is not found. And they shall know that God is the ruler of Jacob to the ends of the earth. Selah.
And they shall return in the evening, they shall howl like a dog, and shall compass the city.
What will they be motivated to eat if they are not satisfied and sleep?
And I will praise your strength, and I will call upon your lovingkindness in the morning: for you have been my refuge and my refuge in the day of my trouble.
I will sing to you, for you are God my helper, the God of my mercy.

Chapter 6
To the one who prevails over Shushan, the testimony of their battle, to David to teach.
When he sent out the Aram Naharaim and the Aram Zobah, Joab returned and struck down twelve thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.
O God, you have forsaken us, you have broken us, a tempest will come upon us.
The earth trembled, it cracked, its bones were as soft as a bed.
You have seen your people as stubborn; you have given us poisoned wine to drink.
You have given those who fear you a miracle to flee from the beauty of Selah.
For the salvation of your friends, O Lord, answer me.
God has spoken in his sanctuary: I will divide the tabernacles, and I will measure the depth of the tabernacles.
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is my strength, the heads of Judah are my lawgiver.
Moab is gone, I will wash my feet in Edom; I will cast out my shoe in Philistia, I will be terrified.
Who will bring me to the besieged city? Who will bring me to Edom?
Hast thou not forsaken us, O God? and hast thou not gone out among our armies?
Bring us help from Egypt and the salvation of mankind.
In God we will become a warrior, and He will crush our enemies.

Chapter 6
To the victorious on the harp for David.
O God, hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I will call to you, with my heart wrapped in my bosom; in a form higher than mine, grant me rest.
For you have been a refuge for me from the greatness of my strength from the enemy.
Agur will dwell in your tabernacle forever; in the covert of your wings I will take refuge.
For you, O God, have heard my vows; you have given an inheritance to those who fear your name.
Days upon days of a king, his years shall be added, as it is from generation to generation.
The world will dwell before God, mercy and truth, from whom will they be saved.
So I will sing praises to your name forever, until I pay my vows day by day.

Chapter 6
To the one who conquers Judah, a Psalm of David.
My soul waits in silence for God, from whom is my salvation.
But he is my rock and my salvation from my enemies; I shall not be greatly afraid.
Until I come upon you, you will all be slaughtered like a slain man, leaning against the wall of rejection.
But when they see him, they will advise him to laugh, they will put a lie in his mouth. They will bless him, and in their presence they will curse him.
But my soul is like unto God: for in him is my hope.
But he is my rock and my salvation; I shall not be moved.
In God is my salvation, and my glory is the rock of my strength; my refuge is in God.
Trust in him at all times, people; pour out your hearts before him. God is our refuge and strength.
But the vanity of the sons of men, the deceit of the sons of men, is like a man in the balances, to weigh them all together.
Do not trust in oppression or robbery; do not be afraid of a warrior, for he will not be afraid.
One word of God, these two things I have heard, for it is strength to God.
And to you, O Lord, belong mercy, for you repay a man according to his work.

Chapter 3
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.
O God, I thirst for you; my soul thirsts for you, as my flesh thirsts for you in a dry land, and I am weary for lack of water.
So in the sanctuary I have seen your face, to see your power and your glory.
Because your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you while I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.
As milk and honey satisfy my soul, so shall my mouth praise you with the sound of your lips.
If I remember you in my trials, I will rejoice in you.
For you have been my help, and under the shadow of your wings I will trust.
My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.
And these are the things that my soul will seek for, they will go down into the depths of the earth.
They will be turned into the hands of the sword, they will be a prey for foxes.
And the king shall rejoice in God; all that swear by him shall glory: for the mouth of them that speak lies shall be silenced.

Chapter 1
To the victorious, a psalm of David.
Hear, O God, my voice when I cry out, from fear of the enemy, preserve my life.
Hide me from the secret place of the wicked, from the snares of the workers of iniquity.
Those who have been like a sword to their teeth, they have gone through the path of bitter words.
Shoot in secret, they will suddenly be shot and will not fear.
They will strengthen his cause with evil words, they will tell him to hide traps, they will say, "Who will fear his cause?"
They will search for the burnt offerings of Tammun, a search that is deep and deep, and a man's heart.
And God sent forth an arrow, and suddenly they were struck down.
And they shall make him stumble upon his face, so that all who see them shall be astonished.
And all men feared, and spake of the work of God, and understood his works.
The righteous will rejoice in the Lord and take refuge in him, and all the upright in heart will exult.

Chapter 7
To the victorious, a psalm of David, a song.
To you, O God, is the glory of Zion, and to you shall they pay their vows.
Hear my prayer, and all flesh will come to you.
The words of my iniquity are stronger than mine; our transgressions thou wilt atone for.
Blessed are you who choose and approach, O Lord, who dwells in your courts, satisfied with the goodness of your house, your holy temple.
Fearful in righteousness, answer us, my God, save us from the safety of all the ends of the earth and the distant seas.
He prepares the mountains with his strength, he looks after him with might.
He praises the glory of the seas, the glory of their captives, and the terror of the nations.
And those who dwell in the uttermost parts of the earth will fear your signs, those who go forth morning and evening,
You have visited the earth and desired its abundance; you have multiplied it; the river of God is full of water; you have prepared their grain, for so you have prepared it.
Her valleys are full, her troops are scattered in multitudes, her glory is glorious, her growth is blessed.
You have crowned the year with your goodness, and your wheels will be filled with abundance.
The wilderness will tremble, and the hills will be girded with a garment.
The sheep will wear sheepskin coats, and the deep will cover them; they will tremble and sing.

Chapter 7
To the victorious one, sing a psalm: Praise God, all the earth.
Sing the glory of his name, sing the glory of his praise.
They said to God, "How terrible are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies will be strengthened against you."
All the earth shall worship thee, and sing praises unto thee; they shall sing praises unto thy name, Selah.
Come and see the works of God: how terrible is the desolation of the children of men!
He turned the sea into dry land, and in the river they passed over on foot, rejoicing in it.
He rules the world with his might; his eyes are on the nations; the oppressors will not lift up their hand against him.
Bless our God, O people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard.
There we breathed life and did not let our feet be crushed.
For you have tested us, O God, and refined us like silver.
You have brought us into a fortress, you have placed a burden on our backs.
You have set man over us, we have gone into fire and into water, and you have brought us out to be satisfied.
I will come to your house with burnt offerings; I will pay you my vows.
Who opened my lips, and my mouth spake in my tribulation.
I will offer burnt offerings of living creatures, with the incense of rams; I will offer calves with fatlings, a sacrifice of rams.
Go and hear, and I will declare all the wonders of God which He has done for my soul.
To Him I have called with my mouth, and He is exalted under my tongue.
If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.
I have heard God, he has listened to the voice of my prayer.
Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer and his mercy from me.

Chapter 67
To play a song with instruments :
May God have mercy on us and bless us, may the light of his face shine upon us, Selah. :
To make known your way on earth, your salvation among all nations. :
The nations praise you, O God, all the nations praise you. :
Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you will judge the peoples with righteousness, and you will comfort the nations on earth with peace. :
The nations praise you, O God, all the nations praise you. :
The land has yielded its harvest. May God, our God, bless us. :
May God bless us, and may all the ends of the earth fear him. :

Chapter 68
To David, a Psalm of David :
God will arise, his enemies will be scattered, and those who hate him will flee from his presence. :
As smoke is driven away, as wax melts before the fire, so the wicked perish from the presence of God. :
And the righteous will rejoice, they will be exalted before God, and they will be joyful. :
Sing to God, sing praises to his name, sing praises to the one who rides in the wilderness, his name is called, and exult before him. :
A father of orphans and a judge of widows, God is in his holy habitation. :
God brings the lonely home, brings out the prisoners in captivity, but the rebellious dwell in the wilderness. :
God, when you go out before your people, when you walk in Shimon Selah. :
The earth trembled, the heavens dripped from before God, this is Sinai from before God, the God of Israel. :
A shower of blessings, O God, you have established your inheritance and your inheritance is blessed. :
Your life will be spent in it, prepare your goodness for the poor of God. :
The Lord will give a word, a great army of heralds :
The kings of armies will be scattered, and the house of the house will divide the spoil. :
If you lie between my lips, the wings of a dove will be covered with silver, and its limbs with a greenish tinge. :
In the horse of the kings of the earth, you will throw a spear at Zalmon. :
The mountain of God, the mountain of Bashan, the mountain of Gibeonites, the mountain of Bashan :
Why do you tremble, you lofty mountains? The mountain of God's delight is his dwelling place, but the Lord will dwell forever. :
The chariot of the God of hosts is in Shinan, the Lord is in Sinai, in the sanctuary. :
You ascended on high, you brought back my captives, to take gifts from man, and even the rebellious to dwell, O God. :
Blessed be the Lord day by day, may the God of our salvation be with us, Selah. :
God is our God of salvation, and to God, the Lord, you will come out from death. :
But God will crush the head of his enemies, the hair of his head, walking in his iniquities. :
The Lord said, I will bring you back from Bashan, I will bring you back from the depths of the sea. :
Why should you tread your foot in blood, so that your dogs' tongues may be free from enemies? :
Behold your goings, O God, your goings toward me, my king, in the sanctuary. :
They advanced, one after another, musicians, amidst the endless waves of thunder. :
In the congregations, bless God, the Lord, from the source of Israel. :
There Benjamin, the young man, is sleeping, the princes of Judah are stoned, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali. :
Your God has commanded your strength, strength of God, this you have done for us. :
From your temple over Jerusalem, your kings will come to you. :
A grove of wild beasts, a company of knights in the herds of peoples, crouching in the fields of silver, in the midst of the peoples, they will desire kinship. :
The Hashemites will come from Egypt, and Cush will spread out his hands to God. :
Let the kingdoms of the earth sing to God, let them sing praises to the Lord. :
To the rider on the ancient throne, behold, a mighty voice will be given to his voice. :
Give strength to God, over Israel his pride and his strength in the wilderness. :
God is feared from your holy places, the God of Israel, who gives strength and power to the people, blessed be God. :

Chapter set
To David, who triumphs over lilies.
Save me, O God, for the waters have come up to the soul.
I sink in the shadow of death, and there is no place to stand. I come into the depths of the waters, and the torrent overwhelms me.
I am consumed with my cry, my throat is sore; my eyes are consumed with longing for my God.
Many are the hairs of my head, they that hate me without cause have plucked off my hair: my enemies that lie, which I have not taken, will I repay.
O God, you know my folly, and my sins are not hidden from you.
Let not your hope be cut off in me, O Lord God of hosts; let not those who seek you be silent in me, O God of Israel.
For I have borne shame against you, and have covered my face with shame.
I was a stranger to my brothers, and a stranger to my mother's children.
For the zeal of your house has consumed me, and the reproaches of your reproaches have fallen upon me.
And I wept in the fasting of my soul, and it became a reproach to me.
And I will put on sackcloth, and be a proverb to them.
The gatekeepers and the drunkards will be angry with me.
And I will pray to you, O Lord, at the time of God's will. In the multitude of your mercy, answer me in truth, and save me.
Save me from the mire, and let me not be drowned: deliver me from them that hate me, and from the deep waters.
Do not let the flood of water overwhelm me, nor let the shadow of death swallow me up, nor let the fire of its mouth linger over me.
Answer me, O Lord, for your lovingkindness is good; turn your tender mercies toward me.
And hide not thy face from thy servant: for in mine affliction answer me speedily.
He is near to my soul, he redeemed me because of my enemies.
You know my disgrace and my shame, and how all my enemies have spoken against you.
Shame has broken my heart and oppressed it. I looked for comforters, but I found none.
And they gave me a head in my famine, and for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
Their slander will be like a plague before them, and their peace will be like a plague.
Their eyes shall be darkened from seeing, and their loins shall be darkened for ever.
Pour out your wrath upon them, and the fierceness of your anger will overtake them.
Their tents will be empty, and there will be no one to sit down.
For you whom you have struck, they will persecute, and they will tell of the pain of your wounds.
Add iniquity upon iniquity, and let them not come into thy righteousness.
They will be blotted out of the book of life, and will not be written with the righteous.
But I am poor and afflicted; your salvation, O God, will sustain me.
I will praise the name of God with song, and magnify him with thanksgiving.
And the Lord will be pleased with the sound of a farthing from the horn of the Pharisees.
Behold, the humble shall rejoice in the precepts of God, and I will give life to your hearts.
For the Lord hears the poor, and does not despise his prisoners.
Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and everything that treads in them.
For God will save Zion and build the cities of Judah, and they will dwell there and inherit it.
And the seed of his servants shall inherit it, and they that love his name shall dwell therein.

Chapter 8
To the one who gives victory to David, to the one who remembers.
God is my salvation, the Lord is my helper.
Those who seek my soul shall be ashamed and digged; those who seek my soul shall be turned back and their evil desires shall be fulfilled.
They will return to their heels, saying, "Brother, brother."
Let all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you, and let those who love you say continually, "May God be magnified, O God of your salvation."
But I am poor and needy; God is my helper and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay.

Chapter 1
In you, O Lord, I have kept me safe from all shame forever.
In your righteousness you will save me and deliver me. Incline your ear to me and save me.
Be my refuge, O Lord, in whom I may continually come. Thy commandment is to save me: for thou art my rock and my fortress.
My God, deliver me from the hand of the wicked, from the cruel and bitter grip.
For you are my hope, O Lord God, my confidence from my youth.
On you I have trusted from my mother's womb; you are my strength; in you I will always be praised.
I have been a burden to many, but you have been my refuge and strength.
My mouth will be filled with your praise all day long.
Cast me not away when my old age is past; forsake me not when my strength is failing.
For mine enemies and they that keep my soul speak together.
For it is said, "God has forsaken him." Pursue and overtake him, for there is no one to deliver.
O God, be not far from me; my God, be my help in distress.
They shall be ashamed and confounded, they shall be ashamed
And I will always hope and add to all your praise.
How many times will your righteousness be declared all day long, your salvation, for I do not know the numbers!
I will come in the strength of the Lord GOD; I will remember your righteousness alone.
O God, you have taught me from my youth, and now I will declare your wonders.
And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare your seed to all generations, your power to all generations.
And your righteousness, O God, is on high, for you have done great things. Who is like you?
You have shown me many troubles and evils, you will restore my life, and you will bring me up from the depths of the earth.
My greatness will increase and you will return and comfort me.
I will praise you with my harp, O my God; I will sing praises to you with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.
My lips will sing praises to you, my soul, which you have redeemed.
My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they shall be ashamed, because they have sought my hurt.

Chapter 1
Give your judgments, O God, to your king, and your righteousness to your king's son.
Judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with judgment.
The mountains shall bear peace to the people, and the hills righteousness.
He will judge the poor of the people; he will save the children of the needy, and the oppressor will be crushed.
They will fear you with the sun and before the moon for all generations.
It will descend like rain on the ground, like drops of dew on the ground.
The righteous shall flourish in his days, and abundance of peace until the end of the moon.
And it shall descend from sea to sea, and from river to the ends of the earth.
Before him shall the armies of the nations be broken, and his enemies shall lick the dust.
The kings of Tarshish and the isles shall bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer tribute.
And all kings shall worship him, all nations shall serve him.
For he will deliver the poor and needy, and the needy, and he who has no helper.
He will have pity on the poor and needy, and the souls of the needy he will save.
From the hand of the wicked and from the hand of the wicked he will redeem their souls, and their blood will be precious in his sight.
And he shall live, and shall be given of the gold of Sheba, and shall pray before him continually, all the day long they shall bless him.
There will be a piece of wood in the land, on the top of the mountains; its fruit will shake like the linden, and they will sprout from the city like the grass of the earth.
His name shall be for ever before the sun: his name shall be called, and in him shall all nations be blessed; they shall call upon him.
Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does wonders.
And blessed be his glorious name forever, and his glory shall fill the whole earth. Amen, amen.
All the prayers of David the son of Jesse.

Prayer after the reading

Who will give the salvation of Israel from Zion, when the LORD brings back the captivity of his people, the deliverance of Jacob, the joy of Israel. And the salvation of the righteous is from me. He is strong in the time of trouble. And he will help them and deliver them, he will deliver them from the wicked and save them, because they take refuge in him.

May it be pleasing to You, O our God and the God of our fathers, that by the merit of the psalms of the Temples that we have read before You, and by the merit of their verses and their verses, and their letters and their dots, and their flavors, and by the merit of Your holy and pure names that emanate from them. That You may atone for us for all our sins and forgive us for all our iniquities, and forgive us for all our transgressions that we have sinned and transgressed and have transgressed against You. And bring us back in complete repentance to Your presence, and instruct us in Your service and open our hearts to the study of Your Torah. And send complete healing to the sick of Your people (and to the sick: to say the name of the sick person and the name of his mother). And you will call the captives "Deror" and the prisoners "Pekah Koh", and you will save all those who travel by road and cross the seas and rivers from your people Israel from all harm and destruction, and you will bring them to the stronghold of their desire for life and peace. And you will command all the children of darkness in the seed of the resurrection to serve you and fear you. And the children of your people, the house of Israel, you will save, so that they will not be oppressed and their children will be saved, and those who live on the plain, in your great mercy, you will save from all evil, and you will satisfy the nursing mothers, so that their breasts will not be deprived of milk. And let not drunkenness, and gluttony, and drunkenness, and all manner of evils and diseases, reign over all the children of thy people, the house of Israel. And thou shalt bring them up in thy law, to learn the law of thy name, and shalt deliver them from the evil eye, and from the wilderness, and from the plague, and from the devil, and from the evil creature. And you will remove from us and from all your people, the house of Israel, in every place of the wilderness, all the hard and bad regions, and you will incline the heart of the kingdom toward us for good. And cut off good branches for us, and send blessing and success in all the work of our hands, and prepare our barns from your hand, wide and full, and your people, the house of Israel, will not need one for another and not for another people, and give to each man according to his barn, and to each family according to his need. And hasten and hasten to redeem us, and build us a house of holiness, and glorify us. And by the merit of the thirteenth of Your hands of mercy, which are written in Your Torah, as it is said: O Lord, O Lord, a God merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and by no means returning empty from Your presence, help us, O God, and save us for the glory of Your name, and save us. And forgive our sins for your name's sake. Blessed be he forever, Amen and Amen.
